Many cancer therapies can be given at home. For example treatment of breast, colon and lung cancer as well as blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Most treatments are given intravenously (by injection into the blood stream), but some are given subcutaneously (by injection under the skin).
Our highly trained and skilled nurses can safely give in the comfort of your own home:
Bone strengthening medications, for example
Colony stimulating factors, for example
Whilst most cancer therapies are suitable for home administration, it is important that you discuss with your specialist and our team whether it is possible to have your treatment at home.
