VOLUNTARY ASSISTED DYING IN WA – YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

WA will soon become the third state in Australia (after Victoria and Tasmania) to legalise Voluntary Assisted Dying.

Put simply, voluntary assisted dying means that some adults could ask for medical help to end their life if they have a disease or illness that is so severe it is going to cause their death and they are suffering badly.

Mary Rigby one of our brilliant nursing team has extensive experience in Oncology. She also has a Masters of Bioethics and maintains a keen interest in VAD. In this informative video Mary talks about the VAD Act in WA and answers many practical questions about the process.

Thank you so much Mary for being willing to try out this new style of presentation! If only the Managing Director had better skills and was able to edit out the background noise from our sweet neighbours.
