Dr Ros Worthington OAM

A powerful inspirational and keynote speaker.

Western Australian community leader, philanthropist and inspirational speaker, Dr Ros Worthington (OAM) is renowned for her captivating, spellbinding effect on audiences.

A charity powerhouse, Dr Worthington founded Breast Care WA, established the Make-A-Wish Foundation in WA and Love Angel Projects.

Holding an honorary doctorate from Murdoch University, Dr Worthington also founded Lifeline WA’s HelpMe campaign and in 2017, she launched Stepping Out of the Shadows, a campaign aiming to lift the veil on depression and suicide and raise a much-needed financial lifeline for Lifeline WA.

Her tireless community work saw her awarded an Order of Australia medal, recognised as The West Australian of the Year for Community in 2015, and inducted into the International Women’s Day’s inaugural hall of fame as one of Western Australia’s most inspiring and courageous women.

A shining example of resilience and determination, Dr Worthington unfailingly moves audiences with her uplifting delivery of how she has turned a series of hardships, personal tragedies and a challenging early life into a lifelong drive to help others.

Since the publication of her first book, the autobiographical ‘The Power of Giving’, Ros has undertaken an extensive promotional tour, spreading the word about the gift of giving.

Dr Worthington is a wonderful ambassador of chemo@home, and an exemplary example of their lived values.
